Stelios is the lead therapist for Dementech Neurosciences in London. As a lead psychologist he provides extensive training and supervision to associate therapists and manages the work and personal development of experienced psychologists and formal work experience of graduate psychologists. Furthermore, he also works closely with the other directors at the clinic to develop programmes, create materials for therapy, and prepare data for review and decision-making. As a lead psychologist he also conducts individual therapy with clients.

Stelios Kiosses is a consultant psychotherapist who studied psychodynamic counselling and clinical supervision at the University of Oxford and has also previously trained in psychotherapy and experimental psychology. He is a member of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the British Psychological Society. He is a graduate from the University of Oxford in Psychodynamic Counselling and Clinical Supervision and was originally trained as an experimental psychologist at University of Sussex and further as a psychotherapist and human factors specialist at the University of Birmingham.

He is member of Corpus Christi College Oxford and a research collaborator with the Computational Psychopathology Research Group based at the University of Oxford and the University of Limerick in Ireland. He is a visiting senior research associate at King’s College London collaborating with the Neurodegeneration Imaging Group for the application of complex behavioural experiments in functional and molecular neuroimaging studies.

Stelios is a visiting lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London teaching both on the BA Psycho Social Studies and MA Counselling at the Department of Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies. He was originally appointed as an honorary senior lecturer at the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Birmingham on the MSc in Psychiatry (Family and Mental Health) focusing on psychotherapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioural therapy and psychodynamic therapy.

He has acted as a TV psychologist and Presenter for Channel 4 (The Hoarder Next Door) and is currently involved with several other TV projects and as a theatre script consultant on mental health funded by the Welcome Trust and Mental Health Foundation. He is a patron of the Princes School of Traditional Arts one of HRH Prince of Wales core charities.
