Vincent Tivoli completed a degree in writing and publishing, in which he wrote an essay titled The Day the World Stopped Crying. It was based on his belief that the society we live in needs to become a grieving culture, which is the missing piece to the jigsaw puzzle of mental health in the 21st century.

Vincent completed a master’s degree in theological studies in 2018 which focused on trauma, grief, and loss. For five years, he worked in three hospitals as a pastoral care practitioner responding to traumatised patients. He also worked with homeless youths for 12 years.

In 2015, Vincent published a book called The Grieving Revolution: A Practical Guide to Healing and Peace.

In 2020, during the lockdown, he made a film called Have You Seen a Pigeon Fly? which supports his ideas for the need to change how we approach mental health.
