Ada Akpala is a writer and sociocultural commentator. Born in Nigeria, she now resides in the UK. Ada specialises in debunking sensationalist and inaccurate narratives about current and historical events, particularly in regard to race.
She believes that we are the rulers of our own life and refuses to accept the victimisation culture that has been sold to so many, particularly Black people. She focuses on creating content that combats the victim mentality and empowers Black people and others.
