New keynote speaker announced

  • Professor Tim Kendall – National Clinical Director for Mental Health, NHS England; Director of the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health, Royal College of Psychiatrists; and Visiting Professor, University College London; Medical Director; Consultant Psychiatrist for the homeless at Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust

Keynote speakers already confirmed

  • Professor Kenneth Wilson –  Professor of Psychological Science, Cheshire and Wirral NHS Partnership Trust; and Director of the NIHR Comprehensive Research Network for Cheshire and Merseyside
  • Professor Sir Harry Burns – Professor of Global Public Health at Strathclyde University where he pursues his interest in understanding how societies create wellness and recently chaired the Scottish Government’s Review into Targets for Health and Social Care
  • Janet Davies – Chief Executive and General Secretary for the Royal College of Nursing. The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) is the voice of nursing across the UK and the largest professional union of nursing staff in the world.

The programme will feature plenary addresses from those at the forefront of tackling housing, health and homelessness challenges presenting new ways of working.

Participants include local authorities, health trusts, commissioning groups, housing associations, construction and planning, charities, A&E and Trust Discharge.

Covering the evidence, causes and impacts, with examples of successful interventions and projects showcased and long term solutions outlined which delegates’ own organisations can benefit from adopting.

There will be ample opportunity for all participants and contributors to discuss, question and debate the issues throughout the day.
